Day 1 - Ranger Training & Dean Cut-Off
After our Crew photo was taken in front of the Tooth of Time, we gathered at the Welcome Center, formed a "Pack Line", filled our water bottles and waited for the bus that would take us to the start of our trek, the Ponil Turn-Around.
We hiked only 2 miles on the first day to our first campsite, Dean Cut-Off, where Bren taught us additional skills in setting up the camp, hanging bear bags and cooking a one-pot meal.
