Belleayre Ski Trip
February 22 - 24, 2005
Once again, during the President's week recess, 34 Scouts and family members ventured up the New York State Thruway to Highmount, NY, home of the Belleayre Ski Center. We had 2 beautiful, sunny and cold days of skiing and snowboarding. Many scouts were skiing for the first time on the 40 trails that were opened. Our evenings were spent at the Belleayre Hostel located just 5 minutes away in the tiny hamlet of Pine Hill. The Hostel features a recreation room that contained a large screen TV, pool table, ping pong table, air-hockey table, and other video games. Perfect for us!
