Plymouth - Boston Trip
This year's spring recess trip was to Camp Sayre, BSA which was about 8 miles south of Boston, Massachusetts. Our campsite was a bit rocky; but our group of 21 scouts and 8 adults scattered the tents all around. We spent a rainy day in Plymouth at the Plimoth Plantation, Mayflower II and Plymouth Rock. But the day ended with a dinner at a Rock Bottom restaurant in Boston followed by a Blue Man Group Show!
On Thursday, we returned to Boston to hike the Freedom Trail all the way through, including the 294 steps of the Bunker Hill Monument. The skies finally cleared for our journey through the city.

Mr. Andersen & Mr. Weilandics cut some wood while Mr. Klein cuts some chickens for "chicken cacciatore".
