National Scout Jamboree - Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia
July 25 - August 3, 2005
Five Scouts and two Leaders of our Troop were part of a 160 member contingent to the "World's Fair" of Scouting this summer.The journey began at the parking lot at the Commack movie theater. We spent 2 days touring Washington, DC and 9 days at Fort A.P. Hill, a huge military base in Virginia. After we survived the first three days of 100+ temperatures, our scouts participated in many activitites, saw many exhibits, and traded many patches! Here are some pictures of our big adventure.
