Yawgoog - 2006
This year, 31 Scouts attended our summer camp at the Yawgoog Scout Reservation. It was a very successful week for our Scouts. They earned a total of 87 merit badges. There were 7 rank advancements earned as well as the Catholic and Jewish religious awards. Our Troop won the "Big B", otherwise known as the Bow County Fair and was selected as an Honor Troop of the Week.
Our Scouts will remember the bats in the Medicine Bow Dining Hall, the lightning storm on Tuesday night when the campsite was evacuated to the dining hall for nearly three hours, the scavenger hunt, the Phantom dress-up night at Friday's dinner, the Scoutmaster Splash with Mike Lynch & Sean Pratt, the cancellation of the Saturday Night Show but not the pizza party, and the rainy dress parade on Sunday.
The famous Monday morning swim test at the waterfront.
Our ball relay team of Bryan, Cory, Glen & Aditya took second place!
