New York Historical Trail - 2006
Over 60 members of  Scout families traveled into New York City to hike the Old New York Historical Trail on December 9th. Our adventure started with the Long Island Railroad and New York City Subway system. We had fun purchasing those Metro Cards!
The hike began at 10th Street and 2nd Avenue and wound its way down through many ethnic communities toward Battery Park, then back through Wall Street and ending at the South Street Seaport. Mr. Klein was able to get his cannoli pastries in Little Italy!
After a brief break in the late afternoon, some of the group headed north to Rockefeller Center to see "The Tree". We joined nearly half-a-million of our New Yorker friends in celebrating the season!
